Rescate Playas

Borinquen

Rescate Playas Borinquen is 501(c)3/1101.01 Act 60 compliant nonprofit organization and community stewardship initiative dedicated to the restoration of outdoor recreational areas and protection of natural resources in and around the 642 acres of Punta Borinquen in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, with the vision of creating Puerto Rico's North West Ecological & Recreational Corridor.

Why are we different?

"What makes us different from most other environmental organizations is that our group takes things a step further than  'mere' trash collection, education, and conservation. We are actively hands-on, engaged in public placemaking; physical infrastructure repair and restoration of the original area. True community revival and empowerment!"

-Mario Torres Zamora (President & Founder)
